Specialized Equipment Assessment

The Occupational and Physical therapists at SPOT Rehabilitation can assist you in selecting the most appropriate rehabilitation equipment such as wheelchairs, standers, lifts and other necessary items. We work closely with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers to review all available resources of the newest and best equipment on the market and good used equipment. The therapists consider the needs of the person and caregiver first, along with the environment in which it is to be used. Together the individual, therapist, and DME providers will assist you with making decisions about funding equipment.

We also work closely with Gillette Specialty Services and their prosthetist and custom seating specialist, when specific orthotics or seating is needed. Gillette has an outreach clinic at SPOT Rehabilitation every other month. Our therapists are well-versed in specialized equipment needs.
